Willa Fourie

I have been at Westville Christian Fellowship since 1984. I gave my life to Christ in 1983, 3rd April. A man by the name of Joe Donato (from the mafia) came to the Rhema Church and gave his testimony. Joe spoke so profoundly on God’s love for us that I had no option but to respond to this mighty, wonderful, loving God – this outrageous love of God that knows no end!

I am a mother of two boys – both are married, both believers and I am a grandmother of four. My eldest Stuart son lives here n Westville, my other son Peter lives in Denver, Colorado – American connection of my son.

High School & Career
I matriculated in 1962 and did 2 years Business College at Natal Technical College from 1963-1964. I worked for stockbrokers called Ferguson Bros here in South Africa and in the USA for Robert Scott based in San Diego from 1967-1969. In 1980 I worked Associated Quarries in their Head Office for all building Companies and Associations. I worked in their computer department and then in Public Relations.

Westville Christian Fellowship
I joined WCF in 1992 as a full-time worker, working mainly in a township called Chesterville and was called to also work in Chatsworth and Phoenix.

In 1996 I started working in the Westville Prison – Youth Center and then moved to “Medium A” – working with awaiting trial prisoners and am currently working in “Medium B”, a maximum security prison. I also minister into the Prison Hospital.

I am also involved in the Restorative Justice Ministry where we help in restoring families and communities and the offenders – bring them all together. Restorative Justice also includes bringing offenders and victims together – “The river of compassion and Forgiveness must flow, and Righteousness and Justice exalts a nation.” I am so passionate about these words.

I love my Lord with very thing that’s within me and I love the people of the nations! The vision that the Lord has given me for Africa is Isaiah 35 – the whole chapter. I am “sold out” for the unity of the “Bride of Christ” – to come into her fullness – right into the four corners of the Earth.
