Church Life and Responsibilities:
1938 -1972 United Kingdom
As children of middle class church going parents, we were brought up in the traditions of the Church of England. This included attending Sunday church services both at boarding school and at the parish church during school holidays. We generally found this both relevant and agreeable and continued church attendance.


South Africa 1972-1983 St. Elizabeth's Westville.
On arrival in our new country we joined St. Elizabeth's Westville. As the Charismatic Renewal overtook 'ordinary' church life at St. Elizabeth's we, along with many others, were born again and filled with the Spirit (1976).
1978-1983 Parish Council (Si), Church Warden (1980-83) (Si), Home group leaders and choir members.

1983-1998 Westville Christian Fellowship.
1984-1998 In church leadership group, home group/cell leaders, zone supervisors.
1988-1995 Church Administrator(Si).

1999-2000 West Somerset Community Church (United Kingdom)
Brought into leadership of this small church within a few months, some preaching/teaching.

2000-2005 Westville Christian Fellowship.
Home cell leaders, Facilitators of Anointed Marriage courses.

Position: Chief Estimator & Director.
· Preparing civil engineering tenders for a variety of projects of value up to R150 mill.
· Supervising & finalising tenders prepared by others.
· Financial management of contracts, including costing & claims
· Heading up Estimating & Buying Departments.
· Formulating with other directors, executing, & managing company vision, policies, & targets.
· Staff management including interviewing, mentoring, directing, measurement & evaluation.
· Marketing, including preparing brochures, market analysis, contact with client bodies & consultants.
· Industry (SAFCEC) liaison committees.

Current interests and hobbies:
Choirs - Durban Symphonic, Highwaymen Barbershop Group.
Music, Theatre, Gym, Family, DIY, Admin jobs, Serving.
