Cell Groups
WCF strongly emphasises and is structured around Cell groups that meet in people's homes during the week for a time of worship, prayer, fellowship and sharing from the Word.
Each week, an outline of the previous Sunday's teaching (called "The Oracle") is typed up as notes with questions and discussion points, which are then used within the Cell groups as a means of dissecting and reinforcing the previous Sunday's teaching, with the intention of The Oracle being incarnated in the lives of the believers.
Each Cell has a leader (or leadership couple) and an intern (or intern couple). These leaders and interns attend a Cell Leaders and Interns' meeting about once a month for a time of Administrative updates, as well as spiritual input and training. Each of the Cell leaders are considered to be like a "pastor", as they look after the needs and problems within their Cell.
Each of these Cell groups is overseen by an Elder, who visits the Cell on a regular basis, and receives a feedback report form each week, so that the needs and problems of the people can be accounted for.
These Cells are the real life blood and building block of the local Church, and are the facilitation for deeper sharing and relationships within the local Body.
