Bev Law
Born in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) 6th February 1954
I have one brother 5 years older and my mother died when I was 11 years old and my dad re-married a woman with five children 7 years later. My Dad and Step-Mom have been married for 33years and are both born again and serving the Lord in the Anglican Church in King Williams Town. We have a wonderful relationship and I highly value their input into my life.
I have three daughters, five grand-children (one more on the way) and one step-son living in the U.K. I have been married to Andrew for eight years – a blessing from the Lord
I was educated in Zimbabwe and emigrated to Durban, South Africa in 1984. I was brought up in the Anglican Church, but became Catholic in order to be married in 1977.
I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in 1981 through the miraculous healing of my second daughter Michelle. During my time as a member of Bulawayo Christian Centre where I received intense ministry and Bible teaching for three years before emigrating to S.A.
My daughters and I were waiting for a bus on Old Main Road two weeks after arriving in Durban and were offered a lift by Hazel Litster. We began sharing our love of the Lord and she took me to Kings Sports where Dave Phillips was working – my introduction to Westville Christian Fellowship.
I am employed by Universal Print Group who bought out Flexoprint where I began working in 1984. I am a Business Development Manager for the Label Division and am responsible for a monthly target of R 2 million. My job requires me to travel to Johannesburg and Cape Town on a regular basis in search of new business
Together with Andrew, I am involved in leading a cell group and from time to time am called upon to teach or minister into various local or trans-local church contexts.
I deeply regret that I have not always made wise or good decisions in my life but have repented and God in His mercy has forgiven and restored me to fullness for which I am eternally grateful.
I am motivated by Faith in the Lord Jesus to be used of God to bring wholeness, healing, deliverance and understanding to His people.
I have experienced healing, deliverance, forgiveness, provision and the magnitude of His grace in my life and that spurs me on to make myself available for God to use as a channel into others’ lives.
